The OS Build 22000.593 released in March 2022 brought back the do-it-all default button that allowed users to set Google Chrome as default browser. While past versions of Windows allowed users to set up Google Chrome as the default browser with one or two clicks, this wasn’t the case when Windows 11 first became available to the public. The software giant initially had made it quite complicated for users to download and use Chrome on Windows 11 machines. Microsoft has been trying hard to wean away users from Google's Chrome to its Edge browser.
